POR-15 Alloy Prep Soft Metal Etching Rust Neutralizer (formerly AP-120 Metal Prep) is designed exclusively for use with our 2K Urethane Clear, Alloy Prep guarantees perfect adhesion of 2K Urethane to any metal surface, especially chrome or polished aluminum, where good adhesion is often difficult to achieve and where other solutions may discolor.
Alloy Prep is non-flammable with no noxious fumes. Wear rubber or latex gloves when using.
Water-based metal prep product specifically designed for the following POR-15 coatings: Glisten PC, WhiteCote, and all Hardnose paints. AP120 should always be used when painting directly onto aluminum and other reactive metals such as brass and copper. when used properly according to directions, it will insure a perfect bond every time. AP120 is not flammable and has no flashpoint, but protective gloves and goggles should be worn when using it.
