- As a universal antifreeze and coolant solution for automobile and diesel engines, ShellZone DEX-COOL Extended Life Antifreeze/Coolant is a powerful product. It protects brass, aluminum, copper steel, cast iron and solder from corrosion. It also has exceptional heat transfer properties and is anti-foaming. It's compatible with cooling system filters, diesel supplemental coolant additives and conventional coolants. ShellZone In its unused form, DEX-COOL is biodegradable, and the solution is nitrite, borax and amine free.
- Concentrated ShellZone DEX-COOL Extended Life Antifreeze/Coolant is a single-phase, ethylene glycol based, extended life, universal automotive engine coolant based on a unique extended life carboxylate inhibitor system. ShellZone DEX-COOL Concentrate is suitable for a five year or 150,000 mile service life in automotive applications. In heavy-duty applications not requiring nitrite. Shell DEX-COOL Concentrate is intended for use as an extended life universal automotive gasoline or diesel engine antifreeze/coolant.
